The Society's aim is to quench the infinite thirst of Jesus on the Cross for love of souls by the living of the four vows in a spirit of loving trust, total surrender and cheerfulness. The aim of the apostolate is to labour at the salvation and sanctification of the poorest of the poor, not only in the slums but also wherever they may be all over the world, by putting the love of God into a living action.

Sick and suffering co-workers
'Sick and suffering co-workers' are those who cannot physically help, but are linked with a Brother, Sister or Father. They offer their prayers and suffering in union with the Cross of Jesus, as a spiritual support which is deeply valued by the Missionaries.

Contemplative
Members of the contemplative branch: - adore Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament in a life of contemplation, silence, solitude, fasting and penance; go out to the spiritually poorest of the poor for two to three hours a day and proclaim the Word of God by their presence and spiritual works of mercy.

Corpus Christi movement for priests
